Tourism in the district
Central and easily accessible, the Hotel de la
Paix Tour Eiffel well deserves its name because
it lies in a very peaceful street.
A short walk from the Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides,
Place des Etoiles with the Arc de Triomphe and
Concorde, you will be able to enjoy a stroll,
do some shopping and visit some of the many museums
and main historic sites.

The hotel is superb, close to the Eiffel tower,
and very well priced. I paid €65 a night, which
is extraordinarily good value, especially for such
a central hotel. Definitely as good as the 3.5-star
place I stayed in the night before. The beds are
firm (an absolute must) and the staff is both polite
and helpful - one even took me for a drive around
Paris after he finished work, to show me the sights!
There is a cybercafe around the corner, some very
good restaurants too, and a late night shop as well.
The location is particularly good. It is less than
5 minutes walk from the Metro station Ecole Militaire
and the Eiffel tower is an even shorter walk away.

I spent 3 nights at the Hotel de la Paix with my
2 teenage granddaughters. Our stay was excellent
- a triple room, 1 large bed, 1 single bed - and
comfortable. Sammi, at reception, was very helpful,
pleasant and accommodating to our needs. This hotel
was recommended to me by friends at the American
Consulate located in Paris. Yes, it is the best
kept secret, but small boutique hotels often are.

"A Great Find in Paris": A TripAdvisor

This is a real find. Located in a quiet street near
Rue Cler... a nice residential area that's not overrun
by other tourists. Very reasonably priced, tastefully
decorated, clean and comfortable. We stayed 10 nights
in the room featured on their website (#21), and
it was exactly as shown. Relatively good-sized room
(for Paris), with a tiny (but adequate) bathroom.
Staff was accommodating, and the breakfasts were
simple but tasty (with GREAT coffee). At €105
a night (plus €7 per person for breakfast),
the Hotel de la Paix Tour Eiffel is a real bargain.
